Parking
Daily parking is available on Fisherman’s Wharf for $7 a day (Permit required).  Overnight parking is available at the Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot for $10 for MA plates and $12 for out of state plates per calendar day.  Monthly passes may be purchased for $120 and annual parking passes may be purchased for $400. Call the HDC at (508) 979-1456 or e-mail Debra.Yuille@newbedford-ma.gov to get your monthly or annual pass.

The Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot is open 24 hours a day and is a well lit with a 24 hour attendant to provide security.  Free shuttle service runs every 10 minutes from the Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot to Fisherman’s Wharf.  Please allow enough time to unload and catch the shuttle back from the parking lot for your scheduled departure.

From Boston and points North (all by limited access highway):
Take I-93 South. Highway forks; stay right. (Note: highway sign reads: "93 South, Dedham-Providence.")
Take Exit 4: Route 24 South. (Note: This is a left lane exit) Distance to next exit 24 Miles.
Take Exit 12: Route 140 South. Distance to next exit 19 miles.
Take Exit 2E/A: I-195 East towards Cape Cod. Distance to next exit 1.3 miles.
Take Exit 15: Route 18 South/Downtown New Bedford.
Turn Left at 2nd light (Note: this is a left lane turn) and another Left onto access road (Macarthur Dr.)
Turn Right onto Fisherman’s Wharf

From New York or points south:
Take I-95 North.
Take Exit 20: I-195 East towards Providence/Cape Cod.
Take Exit 15: Route 18 South/Downtown New Bedford.
Turn Left at 2nd light (Note: this is a left lane turn) and another Left onto access road (Macarthur Dr.)
Take your first Right onto Fisherman’s Wharf

From Connecticut:
Take I-95 towards I-195.
Take Exit 20: I-195 East towards Cape Cod.
Take Exit 15: Route 18 South/Downtown New Bedford.
Turn Left at 2nd light. (Note: this is a left lane turn) and another Left onto access road (Macarthur Dr.)
Take your first Right onto Fisherman’s Wharf

From Cape Cod:
Take Route 6 West.
Take Route 25.
Take I-195 West.
Take Exit 15: Route 18 South/Downtown New Bedford.
Turn Left at 2nd light (Note: this is a left lane turn) and another Left onto access road (Macarthur Dr.)
